Retirement Jobs Public Domain - page two more ideas on searching for profitable public domain material
As noted previously,Retirement Jobs Public Domain takes advantage of the fact there is a mountain of PD material out there and more is heaped on the pile every year. It’s my understanding that in most countries of the world, including my country Canada, who follow the life plus 50 years copyright rule, on January first, 2005,thousands of additions were added to the public domain. Some examples of possible home based business possibilities - the works of;
Swiss Jungian psychologist Ernst Aeppli – American botanist Albert Francis Blakeslee - "western" writer William MacLeod Raine - Canadian essayist and editor of Saturday Night B.K Sandwell - English liturgical scholar and historian Francis C. Eeles - American sociologist and educator Howard Washington Odum - English clergyman and social critic William Ralph Inge - American feminist and politician Emmeline Pethick-Lawrence and thousands more.
That’s the intellectual end and some may not have a modern day market, but sections of their material could add valuable copy to your home based business-PD project. Also out there, “how to “ books, manuals, music etc., all up for grabs. – great material for books, Ebooks CD/DVD’s covering such profitable subjects as marketing, trading stocks, advertising, children's books, recipes, images for posters, and a retirement plan public domain subject I’m working on - "Collecting: Figurines and English China" – the possibilities are endless. Take time for some in-depth researching. You’ll find every hit will give birth to a new subject idea. An easy start is the

Here you will find leads to thousands of book references many of them in the public domain that offer an almost unending supply of material for your creative home based business-PD project. You can search by author, title, serial or subject and many of them are downloadable in “.txt” files. However, for all of my creative retirement plan projects, my favorite research center is Ebay. I spend a great deal of time looking for PD bargains on Ebay because many sellers list old books not realizing or caring they're public domain.
If you have an author's name or subject, you can be specific in your Ebay search - but here’s one of my favorite search techniques. Copy and print the following instructions and give it a try now or later. - When you land at the listing page – scroll over to the left of the page and click on “books and manuscripts”.
- Look over all the listings and search for what might be possible public domain material for your creative retirement plan.
- If your looking for “how to” material, extend your search. While still in the “books and manuscripts” category, type in search –“ (how to, learn, instruction)” – be sure to click the “search in title and description” box.
As I write this, just the first page of my search displayed some interesting public domain possibilities. - ”How to Cook Fish Cookbook” – ca.1908
- ”A Practical and Easy Method of Learning the French Language” –ca.1873
- "How to play Chess” – ca.1917
- ”How to Cook in Casserole Dishes” – ca.1912
Just think of the home based business opportunities this material would give you for an Ebook or CD/DVD plus informative and valuable information for your web site or newsletter. If you decide to try your own Ebay search now This will take you to the Ebay listings page or continue with;
