Productive at Retirement

Having a purpose in life is what gives its flare, its gioia di vivere (Italian for happiness in living) - Retirement is no exception. It is important to find something productive to do with all that extra time - whether it is working full time, part-time, entrepreneur or volunteer. To find happiness is retirement, one must have new goals. These goals must follow these guidelines:
It is something that we love to do
It probably will require a lot of effort to achieve
It must be of value to us and to others.
The secret is to choose activities that match our skills.
I, at an early age, learned sewing and embroidery in Italy. I have always been creative, but never had the time. Now, at retirement, have a home-based business making crafts. After three months of hard work and 2,000 photos later, I have created a website - www.elisascustomcreations.com - were you can read my life story.
You may also find me on www.myspace.elisascustomcreations - I think I am the only 64 year old on myspace and I have no friends listed - I wonder why?
Thank you for listening.
