Creative visualization to release the power of positive thinking.

Creative Visualization Creative Visualization Creative Visualization

Creative Visualization

"Visualize this thing you want.
See it, feel it, believe in it.
Make your mental blueprint and begin."
Robert Collier

Creative Visualization - We are now going to play a “theatre of the mind” game. This brief example is what I work with, you can develop your own visualization screenplay.

The idea of creative visualization is not something new. Back in the 70’s the Russians not only prepared their athletes physically but also mentally by having them visualize winning at their sport.
Roger Bannister, the first man to break the four minute mile claims he used creative visualization of breaking the record many times before the race.

Jack Nicklaus said his secret to success is - 10% technique, 40% position and 50% Creative Visualization - a mental picture of a successful shot – he visualized a successful shot that suits the situation.

While researching the benefits of visualization, mostly via the internet, I realized just how much time I spend at my computer. While compiling that statistic in my mind, I was staring at my computer keyboard and three keys stared back at me – my positive thinking visualization program was born.

Try it – you’ll be amazed when every time you’re at your computer, these three keys will catch your eye and the negative to positive theme will return.

So right now, take a minute to to try some Creative Visualization. Picture your brain computer and here's the "delete" key on your "B" Computer keyboard.

This is your "delete" key

Delete Negative Thoughts

From this point on, every time you think or speak a negative thought, visualize this picture and think of striking your "delete" key and picture your brain’s computer erasing the negative text.

Burn this picture in your mind.

Now, picture actually typing in a positive replacement – then hit the ENTER KEY

Insert Positive Thoughts

Remember, get youself into the habit of creative vizualization when you realize you're thinking negative thoughts.

HIT THE DELETE KEY-erase the negative - HIT THE ENTER KEY -insert the positive

A recent study in the United States shows that Americans spend three days out of ten in a bad mood – all that negativity.

Now, lets get back to visualizing your brain computer and the “Key” key. (My favourite)

Take control of your life

CONTROL KEY – as in taking control of your life.

Every step you take, no matter how small, moves you closer to your goal of being in complete control of your life, of being able to make decisions based on your own rationale rather than from outside influences.

You have already taken the first step, by deciding to develop a plan to help you live a positive, more meaningful and productive life – and when something is manageable; you have lessened the chance of your body reacting in a stressful manner.

When the unexpected happens – and we’re talking about everyday-type issues, the more your body and mind reacts.
But if you took the time to record the when, why and how of these occurrences you would likely find that the majority of them were manageable IF, you had trained yourself to manage them instead of fretting over them.

I was instructed by a professional that instead of over-reacting and stressing myself out, I should talk to myself.

Why not – we all do, except most of the time the “inner you” is trying to convince the “outer you” to take easy way out by every negative means possible.

Take control of your life and Visualization can be a major weapon in your battle against negativity.

HIT THE CONTROL KEY

Take control – think it out. Who or what is responsible? Can you change it? If so how? If you can’t, so be it - accept it calmly and learn from it. What’s the worst thing that can happen?

Also, the two of you must also stop this “IF ONLY I HAD…” loser attitude.

HIT THE CONTROL KEY - USE CREATIVE VISUALIZATION.

Take control - use visualization
